In this section different libraries and demo applications are provided. The demo applications can be downloaded directly to your mobile phone.

If you want to develop your own
location-based services, simply download the library for your target platform and start coding using our APIs.
By download the libraries or examples you are accepting the Terms of Services.
New: Java API for J2ME capable phones v1.1
A lot of mobile devices support J2ME, so perhaps the best library to start with. If the target devices do not provide the Java Location API (JSR 179), which is used by default, you can implement
your own position provider or simply let your users manually set the location.

Ajax API
You want to develop a location-based service and integrate it with your web site? Then take the Aloqa TraX JavaScript API and build your own location-based mash-up without needing
to setup an own server or to deal with positioning and transport of location data.
Java API
You want to develop your own mobile application for e.g. J2ME, Symbian or Android phones? Then have a look at the Aloqa TraX Java API, which is available as software library and provides you with an easy and powerful
interface.
These examples were all implemented using the Aloqa TraX JavaScript API, giving you an overview of the different application domains being supported. If you have created your own application, send us a link to your web page via email (support@aloqa.com) and we add it to this list.

After adding the Aloqa Trax J2ME or Android API to Eclipse, it should be listed under "Referenced Libraries". Select the jar-file and open the properties window (right-click on the jar-file). Then select on the left side "Javadoc Location". Then set the Javadoc location path to "http://dev.aloqa.com/javadoc".
